  8. Oct 25,  · The first eight tracks are the album titled Con Alma, and includes an unissued track, Django, from the original album. However, this set is missing the one track on which Bryant is solo (Ill Wind). I am not positive that this is a good trade-off, but it's easy enough to track down the missing track if you are a completest/5(12).
  9. Ray Bryant is one of my favorite pianists and this album gets a lot of play time in my car and house. While I love Bryant in larger ensembles, especially his collaborations with Coleman Hawkins, he truly shines in trio settings or solo. This album has both. All of the tracks, except 7, feature him driving a trio, with track 7 featuring him solo.5/5(6).
